Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers very spacious rooms with a great layout and perfect walk-in showers. The room service is speedy, and the city view from the floor-to-ceiling windows is absolutely stunning. On the downside, the air conditioning required maintenance multiple times, which was a bit frustrating.
The hotel rooms, while not reaching a 'wow factor,' offered amazing views of the sea and city of Baku. They were stylish, clean, and comfortable with huge dimensions, fantastic views, and lovely spacious bathrooms. The service was polite, helpful, and even went the extra mile to cater to dietary preferences. The location, though requiring a taxi from the city center, was well-maintained and the main draw of this iconic hotel. The dining experience was refined and delicious, offering a wide range of local and international dishes but with potential for more variety. The facilities were top-notch with everything you could need during your stay.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The suite I stayed in had amazing picture windows with a stunning view over the city. The rooms were well-appointed and spacious with a comfortable bed, making my experience truly enjoyable. The service, especially from Ms. Kamala, was excellent, offering various amenities for convenience. The location was perfect, not far from the old town and surrounded by impressive architectural landmarks. Although the dining experience was below par, the hotel made up for it in many other aspects.
The hotel offers wonderful views of the sea and city of Baku from a crowded but comfortable room with interesting light fixtures and a proper king-sized bed in an overcrowded space. The service provided by cooperative and professional staff members like the concierge officers, though few in number, was satisfactory. The location, near the corniche and historic sites, is fantastic with a panorama view but lacks some amenities off-season. Dining quality varies with the expensive prices and service issues. Overall, the hotel delivers a mix of positive and negative experiences.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, but the number of reception staff seemed inadequate for the size of the hotel. The lounge had limited seating, causing delays in meeting customer requests. On the bright side, the beverage and wine/beer selection was excellent.
